Aus Ihrer Passion zur analogen Fotografie und der Leidenschaft für Reisen entstand 2010 ein einzigartiges Projekt – Gerald berghammer und Ina Forstinger gründeten SILVERFINEART PHOTOGRAPHY.

Seither bereisen Sie Ziele immer dann, wenn „bestmögliche“ Bedingungen zum Fotografieren herrschen- Stürme und Regen, Nebel und Kälte sind dabei stets ihre treuen Begleiter! Ihr Handwerkszeug sind analoge Kameras in drei unterschiedlichen Formaten 4x5inch, 6x6cm und 6x17cm.
Gerald Berghammer und Ina Forstinger verbinden den Reiz der Naturgewalten mit langen Belichtungszeiten und spielen gekonnt mit Licht und Zeit. So erhalten vermeintlich sanfte Wolken einen bedrohlichen Anschein, stürmische Himmel erscheinen wolkenlos und peitschende Wellen sehen schlussendlich aus wie ein stilles Gewässer. „Der Reiz an der Landschaftsfotografie ist auf den richtigen Moment zu warten. In unserem Fall ist Geduld nicht eine Tugend, sondern die Voraussetzung.“

Besondere Ruhe und Eleganz erhalten die Bilder auch deshalb, in dem bewusst auf Farbe verzichtet wird. Die Entwicklung der schwarz-weiß Negative erfolgt per Hand in der Dunkelkammer ihrer Galerie im siebten Wiener Bezirk.

Ihre Werke sind streng limitiert, mit der SILVERFINEART-Prägung versehen und handsigniert. Ausgearbeitet werden die Werke in Museumsqualität als Archival Pigment Ink Print oder als Silver Gelatin Print auf klassisch analogem Barytpapier.
