Nando Kallweit creates figurative bronze sculptures of striking calm and quiet authority. At the centre of his practice is the human figure—not as portraiture and not as narrative, but as a distilled study of stance, weight, and inner tension. His forms are deliberately reduced: clear silhouettes, elongated proportions, and a concentrated physical language compress the body into a statement of presence rather than anecdote. The figures often feel like suspended moments—poised between movement and stillness.

Bronze is more than a traditional medium in Kallweit’s work; it is integral to the experience of the sculptures. He uses it to convey density, gravity, and durability without resorting to overt monumentality. The works hold a silent strength: the material’s inherent weight is counterbalanced by slender, almost sign-like proportions. This friction—between mass and refinement—creates a distinctive sculptural tension that draws the viewer in.

Particular attention is paid to the surface. In Kallweit’s bronzes, traces of process are not concealed but orchestrated as part of the formal vocabulary. Compact, worked passages meet calmer planes; edges catch the light while recesses hold shadow. Patina and texture further articulate the figure, allowing it to be “read” through shifting reflections and tonal depth. As the viewer moves, contours sharpen or soften, and the sculpture subtly re-composes itself in relation to its surroundings.

The result is a body of figurative bronzes that oscillate between archaic restraint and contemporary clarity—reduced, physical, and intensely present. Kallweit’s sculptures function like marks in space: understated, yet unmistakable.

LIMITED EDITION
The total number of works in the edition is fixed and stated on the artwork and on the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Once the edition is sold out, the work will no longer be produced in this format or size.

OPEN EDITION
Works offered as open editions are produced without a fixed edition size. They are not numbered and are not signed by the artist.

SHIPPING
Shipping charges are calculated on the basis of the package dimensions and weight. Please select the destination country; the applicable shipping costs will be displayed accordingly.

Orders are dispatched within ten (10) business days. Standard delivery is made in protective packaging to the delivery address provided by the customer. We offer worldwide shipping.

Please note that shipments to destinations outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and/or other charges imposed by the destination country. Any such fees are payable by the recipient and are not included in the shipping charges.

TRACKING
Upon dispatch, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation containing a tracking number issued by our certified shipping partners. The invoice will be provided as a PDF attachment for printing.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the purchase of a finished product, you may return it within 7 days of receipt. You are responsible for applicable return shipping costs and will receive credit toward a future purchase. Items must be returned in new condition, in the original packaging and without any signs of use or wear.

Each SILVERFINEART Limited Edition is custom produced to order. As such, we are unable to change your artwork once order is placed.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the purchase of a finished product, you may return it within 7 days of receipt. You are responsible for all applicable return shipping costs. Once we have received and inspected the returned item, you will receive store credit toward a future purchase from SILVERFINEART.

Please note: Returns are accepted only if the item is in new condition, returned in its original packaging, and shows no signs of use, damage, or wear.

Each SILVERFINEART Limited Edition is custom produced to order. For this reason, we are unable to make changes to your artwork once an order has been placed.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please notify SILVERFINEART within 3 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges, and the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
