INFORMATION ON EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal applies to your purchase, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

For the purchase of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification before the withdrawal period has expired.

EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery where applicable, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal.

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

RETURNING GOODS

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where you have been informed of this obligation before purchase.

Please return artworks securely packaged and, where possible, in their original packaging to minimise the risk of damage during transport.

You are responsible only for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and condition of the goods.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in cases provided for by law. In particular, it may not apply to goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised.

This may include artworks or presentation options produced specifically according to individual customer requirements. Whether an individual order falls within this exception depends on the nature and extent of the customisation.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights in relation to damaged, defective or non-conforming goods.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please contact SILVERFINEART as soon as possible and provide your order number together with clear photographs of the packaging and the damage so that we can assist with the claim and arrange the appropriate next steps.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
