This is the official English version of SILVERFINEART's withdrawal information. English is the contractual language. A German translation is available for information purposes.

In the event of discrepancies between the language versions, the English version shall prevail, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer rights.

INFORMATION ON EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal applies to your purchase, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

For contracts for the sale of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

If multiple goods are ordered as part of a single order and delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the last item.

If a single item is delivered in several separate consignments or parts, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the final consignment or part.

HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Alternatively, you may exercise your right of withdrawal by sending a clear statement by email or post to:

You may also use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to submit your withdrawal declaration before the withdrawal period has expired.

EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs up to the amount of our least expensive standard delivery option, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us will not be reimbursed.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first. This does not apply if we have offered to collect the goods ourselves.

RETURNING GOODS

You must return the goods to SILVERFINEART Gallery without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired. This obligation does not apply if we have offered to collect the goods ourselves.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were informed of this obligation before purchase, unless we have agreed to bear these costs.

Please ensure that artworks are securely packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transport. We recommend using the original packaging where possible, particularly for fine art photographs and sculptures. The use of original packaging is not a condition of exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.

You are responsible only for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's individual specifications or clearly personalised, where the conditions of the applicable law are met.

This may include artworks produced to bespoke dimensions or with specific alterations requested by the customer that are not part of our standard product options.

Selecting a size, finish, mounting or framing option from our standard collection does not, by itself, exclude the statutory right of withdrawal.

Whether an individual order qualifies for this exception depends on the specific nature of the customisation and the applicable legal requirements.

Where a statutory exception applies, this will be communicated clearly before the purchase is completed.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your statutory rights in relation to damaged, defective or non-conforming goods.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please contact SILVERFINEART Gallery as soon as possible. Where available, please provide your order number together with clear photographs of the packaging and the damage so that we can assist you and arrange the appropriate next steps.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
