ART AFFAIR II – 2019

2019 · GALLERY EXHIBITION

SILVERFINEART Gallery · Vienna, Austria

ART AFFAIR II was an exhibition held in 2019 at SILVERFINEART Gallery on Neubaugasse in Vienna, Austria. Following ART AFFAIR I in 2018, the exhibition continued the gallery's presentation of contemporary fine art, including works by Austrian fine art photographer Gerald Berghammer.

Berghammer's minimalist black-and-white landscape photography explores the relationship between light, form and space. Through carefully balanced compositions, refined tonal contrasts and the deliberate use of negative space, his photographs reveal the sculptural qualities of nature, creating an atmosphere of stillness, clarity and timeless simplicity.

His photographic approach combines artistic reduction with a sensitivity to natural light and atmospheric conditions. Landscapes and architectural structures become studies of geometry, balance and visual harmony, reflecting a distinctive artistic language shaped by analogue photography, long exposures and precise tonal control.

ART AFFAIR II marked another chapter in Berghammer's exhibition history in Vienna, reflecting his continued exploration of minimalist fine art photography and SILVERFINEART Gallery's commitment to contemporary artistic expression.
