In February 2017, Gerald Berghammer's fine art photography was presented at art KARLSRUHE, one of Germany's established international art fairs for modern and contemporary art. Represented by Galerie Edition Camos, his work formed part of an exhibition bringing together different artistic approaches and contemporary perspectives.

Berghammer's photography is characterised by a minimalist visual language, with a particular emphasis on black-and-white landscapes, carefully balanced compositions and subtle tonal relationships. Through reduction, negative space and long exposure techniques, his photographs explore the relationship between light, form and atmosphere, transforming familiar subjects into quiet, often abstract compositions.
