Gerald Berghammer’s colour cityscape photography focuses on the relationship between architecture, water and public space. Venice forms a central part of the collection, with its coloured lagoon houses, historic basilicas, gondolas and changing reflections offering a distinctive visual language.
Rather than concentrating on busy street scenes, Berghammer isolates façades, landmarks and architectural structures through precise composition, restrained colour and atmospheric light. Works created in Vienna, Gmunden and Cinque Terre extend this approach to winter architecture, lakeside buildings and Mediterranean villages. Every photograph is produced to archival standards in a carefully controlled limited edition, hand-signed, titled, numbered and stamped on the reverse.
