Colour Waterscapes in Limited Editions
Gerald Berghammer’s colour waterscape photography focuses on inland water and the quiet structures surrounding it. Lakes, waterfalls, boats, jetties and small islands are reduced to carefully balanced relationships between colour, reflection and negative space.
In contrast to the open coastlines of his seascape photography, these works explore enclosed and often calmer bodies of water. Long exposure softens movement and creates stillness, while natural greens, blues, yellows and muted atmospheric tones provide visual structure.
