Minimalist Tuscany Landscapes in Limited Editions
Gerald Berghammer’s Tuscany photographs explore one of Italy’s most recognisable landscapes through a restrained contemporary visual language. Repeating cypress trees, sculptural hills, geometric fields and solitary trees become defining elements within compositions shaped by negative space, natural light and carefully controlled perspective.
The black-and-white photographs emphasise structure, contrast and atmosphere, while the colour works retain the muted greens, ochres and warm earth tones of the Tuscan countryside. Together, the works present a contemporary interpretation of Tuscany that moves beyond traditional landscape photography towards reduction, balance and visual stillness.
