Gerald Berghammer - Master of Minimalist Black and White Photography

Gerald Berghammer is an internationally renowned artist who specializes in minimalist landscapes captured in striking black and white. His unique approach to photography involves the use of analog techniques, where he employs large format cameras to create stunning images that evoke a sense of tranquility and reflection. Each photograph is meticulously crafted; the negatives are hand-developed, offering a tactile quality that digital processes often cannot replicate. These are then transformed into analog baryta prints, available in various sizes, showcasing the depth and richness of monochrome tones.

While Berghammer primarily focuses on analog photography, he also utilizes digital medium format cameras when aiming for the highest quality. This duality allows him to adapt to different artistic requirements while maintaining his distinctive aesthetic.

His work transcends geographical boundaries, reaching clients around the globe. Among his clientele are private collectors, banks, restaurants, airports, and museums, all of whom seek the elegance and simplicity that define his visual narratives. Gerald Berghammer's photography invites viewers to pause and appreciate the beauty found in minimalism, making his contributions to the art world both significant and timeless.
