AS CATEDRAIS BEACH STUDY 4 – SPAIN | GERALD BERGHAMMER
As Catedrais Beach Study 4 is a black-and-white fine art photograph by Austrian photographer Gerald Berghammer, capturing the dramatic coastal rock formations of As Catedrais Beach in Spain. The composition reveals the sculptural beauty of this remarkable coastline, where monumental rock formations meet the sea beneath an expansive, cloud-filled sky.A distinctive natural rock arch dominates the composition, framed by layered rock formations in the foreground and sweeping clouds above. The contrast between the softly rendered water and the rugged geological structures creates a carefully balanced interplay of movement, permanence and stillness. Subtle tonal transitions and atmospheric depth lend the scene a timeless, contemplative quality.
Photographed in 2023 and printed in 2024 as a fine art print, the work reflects Berghammer's minimalist approach to seascape photography, emphasising natural forms, precise monochrome tones and the evocative relationship between land, sea and sky.
This original print, Edition 1/7, has previously been exhibited and is offered as the existing physical artwork in its original presentation. Signed, numbered and dated, the photograph is housed in a matt-black aluminium frame with a natural-white archival mount and anti-reflective glass. The framed work is ready to hang and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Available through the SILVERFINEART Exhibited Art collection, it offers collectors the opportunity to acquire an original exhibited artwork in its existing framed condition.
