CANAL GRANDE STUDY 1 – VENICE, ITALY | GERALD BERGHAMMER
Canal Grande Study 1 is an analogue black-and-white fine art photograph by Austrian photographer Gerald Berghammer, capturing the historic Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. Elegant Venetian palazzi line the waterfront, while traditional wooden mooring posts punctuate the calm water, creating a carefully balanced composition of architectural forms and subtle reflections.The interplay of refined monochrome tones, delicate light and strong vertical elements lends the scene a sense of depth and stillness.
