GONDOLA STUDY 1 – VENICE, ITALY | GERALD BERGHAMMER
Gondola Study 1, Venice, Italy, is a black-and-white fine art photograph by Austrian photographer Gerald Berghammer, captured in 2011. The composition depicts traditional Venetian gondolas gently moving between weathered wooden mooring posts, with historic palazzi forming an atmospheric architectural backdrop. Through long-exposure photography, the subtle movement of the boats contrasts with the stillness of the surrounding architecture, creating a timeless study of Venice's distinctive character.This original gelatin silver print on baryta paper, produced in 2017, has previously been exhibited and is offered as the existing physical artwork in its original presentation.
