MIA – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE BY NANDO KALLWEIT
MIA (2020) is a serial unique figurative bronze sculpture by German sculptor Nando Kallweit. The seated female figure is characterised by elongated limbs, an angular head and a carefully balanced composition. Her relaxed posture, with one leg crossed over the other, creates an impression of quiet contemplation. The dark, textured bronze surface emphasises the sculpture's handcrafted character, while the reduction of facial features and anatomical detail gives the figure a timeless, contemporary quality. Subtle changes in perspective reveal the interplay between line, form and negative space.
Measuring 17.5 × 8.5 × 6.5 cm, MIA is an individually produced serial unique bronze sculpture, hand-signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
