NEDA SORELLE DEL SOL – BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Neda Sorelle del Sol (2021) is a limited-edition figurative bronze sculpture by German sculptor Nando Kallweit, presented here as edition no. 5 of 7. Standing 62.5 cm tall, the sculpture depicts an elongated female figure with narrow shoulders, a gently curved body and simplified facial features. A distinctive semicircular headdress finished in 24-carat gold leaf rises above the dark, textured bronze, creating a striking contrast between the two materials. The figure's subtly asymmetrical stance, slender arms and exceptionally extended proportions lend the work a quiet sense of movement. From the front, the gold element forms a broad horizontal arc, while its narrow profile accentuates the sculpture's elegant vertical silhouette. The changing contours reveal an interplay of form, gesture and negative space, while the textured bronze surface catches the light across its irregular structure.
Combining contemporary figuration with a restrained, almost architectural presence, Neda Sorelle del Sol offers a distinctive sculptural statement for contemporary interiors and private art collections. The contrast between dark bronze and luminous gold leaf gives the artwork a refined visual identity without compromising its minimalist character.
This sculpture belongs to a limited edition of seven. The artist's signature and edition number are marked into the base. A Certificate of Authenticity is available upon request.
