JOSEFINE – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Josefine (2020) is a contemporary figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit, presented as edition no. 1 of 50. Measuring 14.5 cm in height, the female figure is defined by an elongated neck, angular shoulders, slender arms and a gently curved, asymmetrical silhouette. Its restrained proportions give the sculpture a quietly expressive presence. The dark, textured bronze surface reveals subtle variations in tone, with highlights along the contours emphasising the relationship between form, gesture and negative space. Moving between abstraction and figuration, Josefine reflects Kallweit’s distinctive approach to the human form through deliberate reduction rather than anatomical detail.
With its compact scale and sculptural clarity, this limited-edition bronze artwork is well suited to contemporary interiors, private art collections and carefully curated architectural spaces. The sculpture is individually signed by the artist, with its edition number stamped into the base. A Certificate of Authenticity is available upon request.
