SEANE II – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Seane II (2023) is a limited-edition figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit, presented as edition no. 18 of 25. Measuring 11 × 8.5 × 4.5 cm, the artwork depicts a stylised reclining female figure, supported by her arms with her lower legs raised behind her. The elongated neck, angular head and simplified anatomy create a distinctive sculptural silhouette defined by balance, reduction and expressive posture. The dark patinated bronze surface reveals subtle variations in texture and tone, while the gently curved torso and raised legs emphasise the relationship between form, gesture and negative space. Viewed from different angles, the composition alternates between elegant linear contours and more pronounced geometric forms, revealing the expressive qualities of Kallweit's sculptural language.
Combining contemporary figurative sculpture with a refined minimalist aesthetic, Seane II reflects Nando Kallweit's exploration of the human figure through proportion, abstraction and movement. Its intimate scale makes it particularly suitable for display on a shelf, console or pedestal, either as an individual artwork or within a carefully curated collection of contemporary bronze sculpture.
Seane II is presented by SILVERFINEART Gallery in Vienna, Austria, with worldwide shipping available.
