Nando Kallweit – Nelia (7/25)

NELIA – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Nelia (2022) is a contemporary figurative bronze sculpture by German sculptor Nando Kallweit, presented as edition no. 7 of 25. Standing 39 cm high, the slender female figure is characterised by an elongated silhouette, a dramatically inclined neck, an angular head and a subtly asymmetrical posture. Its reduced proportions and sculptural contours create an elegant interplay between balance, movement and stillness.

The dark, textured bronze surface reveals expressive modelling and subtle variations in tone. Narrow shoulders, a defined waist and gently accentuated hips contrast with the exceptionally long, tapering legs. The restrained treatment of the face draws attention to the figure's overall posture, while the carefully articulated contours give the sculpture a distinctive presence from different viewing angles.

Moving between abstraction and figuration, Nelia reflects Kallweit's exploration of the human form through simplified geometry, expressive proportions and the relationship between light and shadow. The sculpture combines a delicate, almost weightless appearance with the enduring materiality of bronze.

This limited-edition artwork is particularly suited to contemporary art collections, minimalist interiors and architectural spaces, where its vertical form creates a refined sculptural accent. Nelia is available through SILVERFINEART Gallery in Vienna, with worldwide shipping.
