FRIEDA EMILIA – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Frieda Emilia (2021) is a limited-edition figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit, presented by SILVERFINEART Gallery in Vienna, Austria. The slender female figure is characterised by elongated proportions, a poised stance and flowing, wing-like forms extending from the shoulders. These sweeping elements introduce a sense of movement while maintaining the sculpture's restrained and elegant silhouette. The stylised head, gently curved body and richly textured bronze surface reflect Kallweit's distinctive approach to contemporary figurative sculpture. Its dark patina emphasises the interplay of light and shadow, while the extended wings create changing silhouettes and expressive negative spaces when viewed from different angles.
Combining sculptural minimalism with a strong sense of movement and individuality, Frieda Emilia conveys elegance, balance and quiet strength. The sculpture is particularly suited to contemporary interiors, architectural spaces and private collections of modern figurative art.
Created in 2021, the work is part of a limited edition of 50 bronze sculptures. SILVERFINEART Gallery presents edition 20/50.
