Nando Kallweit – Helena V

HELENA V – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Helena V (2019) is a contemporary figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit, offered as an open edition. Measuring 18 cm in height, the sculpture depicts a slender standing female figure with an elongated body and two dramatic, upward-curving forms that resemble wings.

These sweeping, crescent-shaped elements frame the upper figure, creating a distinctive silhouette and an expressive interplay between sculptural form and negative space. The narrow body rises from a compact rectangular bronze base, while the dark, textured surface reveals subtle variations in light and shadow.

Combining the human figure with abstract, almost architectural forms, Helena V reflects Kallweit's exploration of proportion, gesture and the expressive possibilities of bronze. Its balanced composition gives the sculpture a distinctive presence despite its relatively small dimensions.

Hand-signed by the artist, Helena V is available through SILVERFINEART Gallery in Vienna, Austria, with worldwide shipping.
