MALINA – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
MALINA (2020) is a limited-edition figurative bronze sculpture by German sculptor Nando Kallweit. The work depicts an elongated female figure with a distinctive geometric head, narrow shoulders and a gently curved posture. Angular contours and flowing lines create a delicate balance between stillness and movement. The dark patinated bronze has a richly textured surface that subtly reflects the light, revealing the sculpture's changing contours from different viewpoints. Kallweit reduces the human form to its essential elements, allowing proportion, silhouette and posture to convey a quiet yet expressive presence.
Standing 22 cm tall, MALINA demonstrates how a small-scale sculpture can achieve a strong visual impact through simplicity and carefully balanced proportions.
Created in 2020, this work is numbered 4/25 from a limited edition of 25 bronze sculptures.
