STEFANO – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE
STEFANO (2020) is a serial unique figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit. With a height of just 16.5 cm, the work brings his distinctive sculptural language into an intimate format, combining reduced forms with a strong sense of individuality.Kallweit's approach to the human figure emphasises proportion, silhouette and expressive simplicity. Rather than relying on anatomical detail, his sculptures explore how the essential elements of the human form can communicate character and presence.
The enduring materiality of bronze contrasts with the visual lightness of Kallweit's contemporary aesthetic. Subtle variations in surface and the interaction of light and shadow give the sculpture its own distinctive character.
Individually finished and signed by the artist, STEFANO reflects Kallweit's approach to serial unique sculpture, in which each work possesses its own identity. Its compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for contemporary interiors, carefully curated collections and intimate display settings.
