SWAMI II – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE BY NANDO KALLWEIT
SWAMI II by German sculptor Nando Kallweit is a contemporary figurative bronze sculpture characterised by elongated proportions, angular lines and a carefully balanced composition. Standing on one leg with the other bent at the knee, the stylised female figure adopts a yoga-inspired pose that conveys stillness, concentration and quiet strength. The slender silhouette, gently curved torso and geometric arrangement of the limbs create a distinctive interplay between movement and stability. The dark, textured bronze surface emphasises the sculptural contours, allowing light and shadow to reveal subtle variations in form.
Created in 2023 as part of a limited edition of 25, SWAMI II reflects Kallweit’s minimalist approach to the human figure, bringing a sense of balance and understated elegance to contemporary interiors and fine art collections.
