TINA – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
TINA (2024) is a serial unique figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit. The seated figure draws her knees close to her body, while elongated arms extend downwards towards her crossed feet. The narrow shoulders, angular head and simplified facial features reflect Kallweit’s distinctive sculptural language. A dark patina, interrupted by subtle bronze highlights, emphasises the carefully modelled surfaces and slender proportions. The composition combines geometric clarity with a quiet sense of introspection. The upright posture and closely folded limbs create a compact yet expressive silhouette, while the interplay of angular forms and delicate gestures gives the sculpture its individual character. Through the reduction of anatomical detail, Kallweit transforms a familiar human pose into a contemporary bronze sculpture defined by balance, restraint and timeless elegance.
