WOMEN (3/25) – FIGURATIVE BRONZE SCULPTURE | NANDO KALLWEIT
Women (2019) is a contemporary figurative bronze sculpture by German artist Nando Kallweit, depicting three elongated female figures standing together on a single rectangular base. Each figure is distinguished by a subtle variation in posture and head position, creating a quiet dialogue between individuality and togetherness. The simplified facial forms, angular shoulders and slender silhouettes give the composition a distinctive architectural rhythm. The dark, textured bronze surface reveals subtle tonal variations, while the spaces between the figures emphasise their independent forms and shared presence.
Measuring 23 × 21.5 × 5.5 cm, Women belongs to a limited edition of 25 sculptures, with this example numbered 3/25. The work reflects Kallweit's characteristic approach to contemporary figuration, balancing sculptural reduction, stillness and human connection.
